If your business offers courses or training, an online LMS will save you money.

By setting your courses up to be delivered online through an LMS, you have a scaleable training solution that lets you deliver a tracked curriculum via engaging multimedia (text, image, video) to any number of self-paced learners.

An LMS is unbeatable for getting your course out to the largest possible audience with maximum efficiency.
As courses change and update, it's a simple process to refine the course materials and roll out these changes to all future students.

In addition, you get the chance to brand the LMS, see detailed analytics of your learners progression, and have the option to monetise or cross-sell additional related courses or services.

LMS success story.

Background:
Community Engagement is a huge part of research, with input from the community a big driver helping to direct and influence the research that is funded and actioned.

Challenge:
Telethon Kids Institute had a dedicated Community Engagement team, however they delivered training in-person to researchers.

This was not only time-consuming, but also created a problem with limited resources to deliver the training plus the training having to be location-specific to the trainers.

Our Result:
An LMS was developed to look nearly identical to the main Telethon Kids website.

This platform would allow researchers Australia-wide to register and progress through the Community Engagement online LMS course gaining a certification at the end of the course.

"Thanks very much for the work on bringing this course together – it’s been a long road and many years of trying to get it off the ground.

I am really pleased with the finished product and appreciate you doing the bit (lots) extra that you have done. So far the testing feedback has been very positive."

Custom LMS vs. SaaS LMS

Custom LMS systems offer a different set of benefits to a SaaS LMS.

There are Pros and Cons to each approach, with the best solution reliant on the project goals.

Custom LMS overview

A Custom LMS is a standalone website. You get full control over the look, style, and functionality of the LMS.

If you need additional features, these can be added. Most importantly, you own the system.

You and all your course content aren't tied to any SaaS provider. The Custom LMS option gives you the most control over your course and students.

SaaS LMS overview

A SaaS LMS uses a subscription model and lets you manage your course online. It's often quick to setup.

SaaS LMS features are globally applied to all of the SaaS customers, so you are getting a prebuilt templated system.

The more you invest in a SaaS LMS, the more reliant on the SaaS LMS you become. Data is not easily extracted, and you may find yourself at the mercy of the SaaS provider.

Frequently Asked Questions.

  • Do you outsource?

We use our trusted freelancer network as needed for specialised work.

These are resources that we work with frequently, speak with regularly, know and trust.

For all intents and purposes they are members of our team.

  • Why is this more expensive than (absurdly cheap international freelancer)?

Yes there are cheap providers of these services out there, often in developing worlds.

Maybe you'll get a good one. Maybe you won't.

The point is that this stuff takes time to do right, and our price reflects the hours we need each month to do a job we're proud of.

In addition you get a local contact you can talk to directly.

We encourage you to think more about value than price

    • Are absurly cheap rates worth it if you plummet in the rankings?
    • Are our rates worth it if you get longterm sustainable results?

LMS site pricing.

A LMS site's price is dependent on the complexity of the course you're offering.

If you have a relatively simple and linear course, that's going to take less time than one with prerequisites, multiple quizzes, and varying paths that users can go down as they proceed through the lesson plan.

LMS Site

Starting from $9,000+gst

Hosting costs are additional.

LMS websites can be super complicated or super simple.

We've put a starting from price above based on the time and effort that goes into a standard WordPress and LearnDash setup. As with all things online, to do it right takes time and we're not in the business of shady shortcuts.

With an LMS though you can find it should deliver a ROI given it allows you to:
  • Sell your course online,
  • Save money and time by not conducting in-person training,
  • Scale your training out to cater to audiences everywhere.
